Croatian artist Tomislav Tomić created this stunning illustration for a recently reissued version of Andrew Lang’s famous 1910 collection of children’s fairy tales, the Orange Fairy Book. It accompanies a story called The Girl-Fish, about a selfish young girl who ignores the warnings of a magical fish she catches in her net, and is herself transformed into a fish when she eats it.
