As far as lists of legendary queens go, Guinevere has to be up there. For one, she is LITERALLY legendary – an integral part of Arthurian stories, along with earlier medieval works. She’s also usually described as intelligent, kind and beautiful, and in some adaptations, becomes the ruler of Camelot following her husband’s death. All hail Queen Guinevere.
