The Three Princesses in the Blue Mountain is a Norwegian folktale about (you guessed it) three princesses who were carried away by a snowdrift and imprisoned in a blue mountain. This illustration by Danish artist Kay Nielsen depicts the moment the soldier - one of the princesses' rescuers - uses a magic whistle to call down a flock of birds, willing to do his bidding. Pretty cool.
Slightly shorter than our previous kimonos and with traditional square-cut sleeves, this is destined to be your go-to piece for when your outfit needs that extra push in the direction of 'awesome'.
