So I have been asked to chime in on some of the discussion that has been happening lately on social media, and address some of the questions that people might have. Let's get into it!

Firstly, I want to apologise to anyone who feels like we haven't appreciated our customers as much as we need to. Speaking for myself, I can honestly say that every single girl who buys our clothes means the world to me! I mean, nothing makes my day like running into a girl wearing BlackMilk. If you have been walking down the street wearing BlackMilk and some random guy has come up to you with a cheesy grin and given you a massive high-five, that was probably me.

I also spend a lot of time with the team, and I know that every single one of them loves each and every customer who buys our clothes! We definitely love the BM community and we need to do a better job of showing it! So if you feel like you haven't been appreciated as a black milk customer, I am really sorry. Please know that the fact that you buy our clothes and rock out in them means the world to us.

Sometimes people post pictures of themselves wearing our clothes on social media, and for whatever reason we miss out on it and don't get an opportunity to show our appreciation. Please know that that is not intentional, and we are going to be thinking long and hard about how we can make sure everyone in the BlackMilk community feels the love!

Also, we have talked with some girls who would love to see more diverse shapes and sizes on our social media channels. Again, I apologise if you feel that girls who look like you, for whatever reason, are not really visible on our social media channels. We will definitely work hard to make sure that our social media changes to reflect the diverse and amazing customer base that we have!

Of course, these things take time, so please be patient! This kind of work is not easy and I deeply appreciate our social media and customer service teams and respect what they have achieved. I see how much the team gives every day and I feel super proud of them!

In the meantime, keep posting pictures, keep telling us what you want to buy, and keep feeling great wearing our clothes!
