Rewards Program Run-Off Terms & Conditions
Important Update: Changes to Our Loyalty Program Posted on 26 March, 2025.
We’re currently in the process of making some important changes to our current rewards program (“program”). As we focus on improving our processes and enhancing the customer experience you've come to expect from us, we’ve made the difficult decision to wind down and conclude our current rewards program in line with the Run-Off Terms and Conditions outlined below.
As we begin to work on our new rewards experience, we’re excited to actively engage with our community to help shape its benefits and structure. We’ll also be exploring ways to acknowledge past participation, so stay tuned for more updates.
Why Are We Making These Changes?
When we first launched our current rewards program, we were full of excitement and had the highest of hopes. But over time, we’ve found the program didn’t have the right structure to enable us to scale it. We never expected the pace you’d be adding new pieces to your wardrobe, and while we’ve done our best to keep up, creating customs has been so challenging to resource for. As a result, we've fallen behind, and honestly, it’s not something we’re proud of.
We also recognise that the current program doesn't have automatic tracking. The status of finding out your progress or eligibility is manual, and the responsibility has always been on you to reach out if you think you've qualified for a reward. We know you deserve better, and that’s one of the key changes we intend to make as we develop and work to implement our new rewards program.
What Does This Mean for You?
Our current rewards program will be ending on 31 July 2025. Between now and then, Qualifying Customers (as defined below) may still be eligible for accrual and redemption of Qualifying Rewards (as defined below) inline with our Run-Off Terms and Conditions outlined below.
For the purpose of the Run-Off Terms and Conditions, a “Qualifying Customer” means someone who:
- Has actively participated in the program in the past 12 months (prior to the date of this notice by either:
- Becoming eligible for a reward and claiming it; or
- Having previously claimed a reward, awaiting the fulfillment of the reward redemption of that reward; or
- Has made a purchase in the last 12 months (prior to the date of this notice) and previously claimed and received a reward for reaching one or more of the program’s thresholds.
Run-Off Terms and Conditions:
1. Program Run-off Period: 26 March 2025 - 31 July 2025
2. Program End Date for Piece Accrual: 30 June 2025
3. Program End Date for Reward Redemption: 31 July 2025
4. No New Enrollment: Effective the date of this notice, new members will not be able to join the current rewards program. This means that if you have never previously requested or received a reward, you will not be entitled to claim any reward in connection with the terms and conditions of the current program, therefore the terms and conditions of that program do not apply to you.
5. Redeeming Rewards:
- Rewards already requested or briefed in as at the date of this notice will continue to be honoured.
- Reward thresholds reached during the ‘Run-off Period’ by ‘Qualifying Customers’ will be honoured, subject to the terms of ‘Qualifying Rewards’ as outlined in clause 6.
- Qualifying Customers will need to contact BlackMilk about any rewards they consider themselves eligible for, on or before the ‘Program End Date for Reward Redemption’, as specified above.
- If you meet the definition of a Qualifying Customer, and consider that you are eligible for a reward, please reach out to our Customer Service team at hello@blackmilkclothing.com on or before the ‘Program End Date for Piece Accural’, as outlined above.
6. Qualifying Rewards: Unless you have already requested or briefed in a custom, custom rewards are no longer eligible for redemption as and from the date of this notice. Instead, you can opt to revive a museum piece (subject to fabric availability) or to receive a gift voucher which is equivalent to the reward threshold as outlined in the previous program.
7. Voucher Redemption: Vouchers issued during the program run-off period will expire on 31 December 2025. Vouchers issued under these terms are not transferable, exchangeable, redeemable for cash.
8. Piece Accrual Status: Although we are exploring ways to recognise past participation from the previous program, any piece accrual that doesn’t reach a reward threshold before the Program End Date will not hold a specific value or be guaranteed to transfer under the new program.
9. Legal effect: These terms are subject to any applicable laws. If any part of these terms is found to be unlawful, void, or unenforceable, that part will be removed, and the rest of the terms will still apply. We may update or change these Run-Off Terms and Conditions at any time and will let you know, which could include posting the updated terms on our website.
