‘The Bath’, a sixteenth-century Belgian tapestry, is known as a ‘mille fleur’, so-called because of the ‘thousands of flowers’ in the background. Oh, and it also shows a lady taking a bath while being entertained by musicians and fed dinner, because apparently that was a thing.
